Eye Rocket
Eye Rocket is an independent publishing house based in Chicago. Co-directed by Zach Huelsing and Matt Kessler, our focus is on printed matter that combines visual and textual elements in an original manner. This could be a comic book, an illustrated novel, a punk zine, trading cards, or countless other printed formats. As long as its got some combination of drawings, pictures and words, we're happy.
Established in 2007, Eye Rocket has quickly flourished in the independent-press community. In two short years, it has found itself on the top-ten lists of Maximum Rock 'n' Roll, Quimby's Bookstore and famed New York underground radio station WFMU. Its releases are distributed internationally by Last Gasp and Bodega Distribution. Having primarily released the work of co-founders Huelsing and Kessler thus far, Eye Rocket hopes to expand its roster of artists in the near future.
